Prof. Ceyu Xu (徐策羽) is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Duke University under the supervision of Prof. Lisa Wu Wills, and his B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of California, Irvine. His research focuses on computer architecture, AI hardware accelerators, compiler and EDA tools, and artificial intelligence for chip design, with additional interests in deep learning and coding/information theory.

His recognitions include the ASPLOS 2026 Best Paper Award, MICRO 2025 Best Paper Award, ISPASS 2023 Best Paper Award, and an IEEE Micro Top Picks Honorable Mention (2023).
